That was too much wind for my 10m. Need to fix my 7 so I can use it again. Had a good day on yesterday, but today was something else. Lasted maybe half an hour
Ended up hitting Madison today. Successfully pulled off the classic 'Ferris Beuler" kite routine for work. Drove out to Madison early, had a remote meeting with my boss. Then hit Burrows park and was completely lit on a 10m. Then managed to pack equipment/ switch out of wetsuit and made it to my 2PM meeting from another coffee shop. This is how it's done boys ;)
@jake s I hear ya - today was wild. I was riding solo at Lake Mendota. Rather than risk it navigating my kite around trees in 30mph winds, I found a good spot, pulled safety release and practiced the 'ol self-rescue routine. It was a fun/challenging/scary day... can't wait for the next one!
