Dang, I didn't have time to make it before the wind dropped. I wasn't too sure about the direction either.

Stafford, it looks like I caught the wind at the perfect time, although it was very gusty today for this spot. Direction was solid -- getting to the wall and even back was as easy as can be.
Actually put up a 10m thinking it wouldn't be enough, but was nicely powered (and overpowered a little during gusts) and on a small board in the end. 13m would have been death haha. But can't complain. Water still freeeeezing though.
I'll comment on freezing water... Been in Florida for past month and boardshorts every day. Got to OBX today (Sunday) and on the water before checking into our house. Maybe should have noted people on water were in wet or dry suits, but air temps in 60's and I was in a hurry. Well, water a bit nippier than I thought and wished I had wore gloves and immediately realized my board shorts were a bad idea but elected to ignore that oversite. So cut it short after an hour and then spent an hour in hot tub thawing my legs. Live and learn...
