First session in 5 weeks today! Good afternoon at the big lake. Myself, Stafford, Bill and another guy from Kenosha all out on big kites for about an hour. Just caught the window for it being windy enough.
Water is also warming up. Still a thick wetsuit but no hoods, booties or gloves required. Could be thinner wetsuits within a couple of weeks.
FYI: McKinley Beach is now OPEN, so on busier days I recommend heading there.
