We arrived in South Padre on Saturday evening and totally lucked out.
As Beryl veered northward it gave us a solid day on 7 / 8m kites yesterday and 9 / 11m today- even with blue skies.
Haven't seen a single shark yet either 😀
Highest tide we've seen down here, riding over ground that we normally park on.

Yes that's the Ponds at the North Flats (heavily flooded) looking back East towards the road
After 2 weeks in SPI, we only missed one day- albeit most of the time on big kites- good for trick practice though- nice and slow!
Pretty nice for a Summer vacay 😀
