Hoping to get out for a foil if the wind cooperates
I wish the webcam worked because I can't tell if it is windy enought down there.
Just got back from Sheboygan- it was cold and gusty.
water felt 10 degrees cooler than last week and wind was much worse quality than usual. 13m was perfect at times, but also too little / too much at other times.🤷♂️
Fall is definitely here 😬
Got out at Grant to foil for about an hour. Wind seemed to turn from SE to SSW while I was out making for an interesting self rescue after riding through my lines. Swam in to the beach without loosing any gear so all is good.
I rode Bradford for about an hour yesterday from about 2:30pm.
Wind was weak but enough to get upwind on a 17m kite and big board, plus the odd small jump here and there.
Water still warm enough for a 3/2 wetsuit with no booties and gloves (may be not warm enough for Stafford though haha).
I considered Sheboygan but the wind did look up and down, so thanks for making me feel better about not making the drive Steve!
Hope to get some more days in here soon and to see some of you kite lads out there!!
