Lads! It's been a while. Super crappy weather (cold, no wind/wrong wind) has not helped but today might be the last day of the year to kite!
North wind and 39 degrees means SSYC but I haven't been down there in a couple of months. Anyone know the situation with the beach?

@Ryan Wickens I didn't see this, but I launched off of Bayview beach. South Shore area is all under construction. Got a nice hour long session on a 12 before conditions went side shore and gusty.
Where exactly is that and where's the best place to park?
@Ryan Wickens you park right on superior across from either the sisters of st Francis or the arch diocese. There are steps off the bike path by the sisters, or the bike path goes right along it if you park more in front of arch diocese..... It's not a great launch spot, I'm shocked I didn't pop my bladder on black locust thorns today. But it is doable for the time being until we get access back at south shore
I haven't kited there in a few years, but if you know your way around there drift launch & land also possible depending on wind direction and lake level.
