Jake, I think you chose right.  The wind came up so much that it was too much for everyone.  Two kites ended up in the reeds today.

Dang! I was really on the fence on whether or not it would shift and pick up in time to go.... I chose wrong!

Jeff was just out there.  picked waaay up 35mhp with gusts over 40.  and a balmy 41 degree air temp

Anyone going to the Swamp today? 

I don't think I am going to make the treck to the swamp. Wind seems really up and down and I am not really interested in drift launching today if no one else is there. Have fun those who go! Jacob

@Mitchell Noyes  You do a lot more board dragging back up wind than walking. Walking is just a major workout in the mucky wayer.

@Mitchell Noyes  Box horn is a drift launch only site for newer kites or if you are alone. The water is shallow so you can walk in most areas close to shore. Many of us learned to kite there....

Launching from boxorn, are you kind of screwed if you can't stay upwind? Doesn't look like theres an easy way to walk back up to the launch huh?

Haha, sorry I couldn't make it today lads! Looks like it was a hoods down kinda day!

Tuesday worked too.  Not as strong overall, but good.  The water is warmer.  Jacob, Jeff, and Steve were all there on 10m kites.  Without BBR, there was no 13m flying.
