Never happened today.  I was watching back yard and checking big pond, but saw nothing...  Maybe tomorrow behind the storm inland.

IF the storms hold off, the Big Lake is an option today!  I'll be watching to see if it is still safe after 1 p.m.

Well, for it being the bagel and on shore wind, it had its moments.  Stafford and Ryan came in the afternoon. All in all a decent day kiting.  

Kevin and the WAK crew are in Hatteras this week. Will be quiet at the bagel. I can't make it today, but hope y'all enjoy!

I've been on the fence.  I do have most of the day, and I haven't been up to the bagel in a while.  I'm leaning towards that today I guess.

unfortunately, third last day in Caberete went canyoning, with a guide, managed to hit a boulder underwater on the last jump, and will be out of commission for a while with a sprained angle

Didn't get to kite the eclipse, but did see my own version whilst traveling through Texas yesterday. Arrived in South Padre last night. Got to blow the cobwebs off today, lit on a 17m in warm wind...

Not as dark as we thought it gonna be! See you kite lads for the next eclipse, circa 2044! 

It's windy at the swamp right now.  Water is still cold, so dress for the rescue.  Weather predictors say the eclipse might reduce the wind ....
