Looking a bit light this weekend, but any chance Sheboygan may be in play Saturday afternoon?

@A B don't take my word for it, but I'll be up there anyway and will be bringing a big kite and big board just in case. Shebygan can get some great thermal action from my experiance. I can send a conditions update when I get up there in the late morning, though the livecam will also be pretty telling.
Thanks Mitchell, that would be helpful.
there is thermal possibilities in Sheboygan, and even Milwaukee whenever the skies are clear and there is hotter land than water. For reasons I don't understand, when it is 5-10mph from the SW in the a.m. down here, Sheboygan gets SE thermals. But the sky in Sheboygan has to be completely cloudless in that situation.
Sheyboygan is 80% likely this afternoon.
I will be watching Bradford closely --- though parking is likely going to be a nightmare to get near the North End. I think Bradford may thermal and will post up if I head down.
Jeff, the McKinley beach is now open, so you can park on the road there or in the marina lot. Stafford launched from there on Mother's Day.
Currently, I'm two weeks post stem cell injection and have been told to take it easy, which is why I've been MIA this past week. I might be tempted to get out sooner but would have to take it easy until the end of the month.
Still pretty light out here but seems like the thermals starting to kick on. Gonna check back in around 3
One kite or so far in Sheboygan, feels like it's building
It's light at McKinley. Putting up 12m foil kite and hydrofoil and will give it a go. Fifty fifty is there's enough.
It's on at McKinley. Boosting over 6m on 12m kite. Unfortunately I broke a line, again :-(
@A B Saturday afternoon turned out to be fine on Pike Lake. A number of us foiling with wings, and one windsurfer on a foil board. Winds were about as predicted on Windfinder, 13-17 mph with some lulls in between, but a good day.
Tom H.
Great points all, not sure if I knew about that webcam so much appreciated. Thanks also Stafford for the thermal conditions reminder. Sometimes hard to know if the trek will pan out, but that helps. I thought there may have been too much east in the forecast for that to happen. Glad many out there scored a great session!
