  • Looks like it was great in Sheboygan today and Tuesday may be the same.  if so, im going.  nothing materialized at the swamp today.

  • We should head to Sheboygan too, but forecast tomorrow is slightly better than today and our back yard produced a couple very nice hours with bigger wings/foils/boards.  Guess we are getting old, but we are sure having fun!

  • Sheboygan was great until we arrived and rigged same kites as everyone else.

It ended being OK on big kites.

Will likely head back up tomorrow unless the Swamp works

  • Ok, not going to preach or anything here, but this old timer going to again sound off on a perspective.   We (Bonnie and I) love to be on the water with board/foil and sail/kite/wing.  Don't really care what we are using as long as it matches conditions (wind/waves/weeds/access/water-ice...).  All have their own joy and challenge.  But it is becomming clearer to me over time that modest quiver of wings/boards/foils goes a long way toward being on water in Wisconsin more, augmented by small quiver of alternative (kite, sail...) aimed at very high or very low wind alternatives.

Just sharing a perspective developed over past 40+ years...  Which means this summer I am likely to unload many sails, kites, boards to make some room in boathouse...

  • McKinley/Bradford might work today. Keeping my eye on it.

  • Headed to Mckinley to try and get out on the foil. Hope to see some of you there!

  • At McKinley, it's light

  • Back yard was a joy for us for hours, swamp probably still on.

  • Sheboygan delivered.

Today the wind matched the station reading almost exactly. probably helped by the clear blue skies.

We were fully powered on 10 & 11m.

  • Was up in Bailey's Harbor most of the day. The flats on the north end were on fire. Lit on 10m and TT and then switched to 8m and surfboard late in the day and had the best surf session of my life. Vacation is amazing. Glad to hear everyone scored.
