I got out for 25 minutes on 17m and big board. Wind was kind of soft and I could feel it coming down so I came in (rather than drift in 20 minutes later haha).
I also rode the big pond on Monday for about 45 minutes. Similar conditions but I timed it a bit better. Living close and have the cargo bike certainly help!
Also, first time (in god knows how long) that I've rode Lake Michigan without any neoprene (just board shorts and a rash guard) and I was actually getting a little hot!
Water super warm! Hopefully it sticks around and with some cold air this fall that should result in some good kite days!
