Wind is almost due east, which is not ideal for South shore. I am heading to check Grant.
It's already looking good out there. Probably heading to south shore today around noonish
Some NE breeze next couple days, hoping to get wet!
I might head over there in a few minutes to see if it's worth it. Looked better this morning though. I'll try to post back .

Nothing too great. TT was impossible, but had a decent hydrofoil session. A bit cold in board shorts when I went for a splash.
Bummer. May try Grant but stations are showing big switches between NE and NW regularly
SSYC is NOT working. BBR is there and reports side-shore, gusty wind. Delevan or Winnebago might work, but they'd still be gusty...
Well that didn't work out as planned. Hit SSYC around mid afternoon, when it was quite solid, but it dropped shortly after heading out & was stranded on the pebble beach south of the Terrace, ...
Back yard up & down a bit, but all together a nice session. Glad I didn't bring gear to big pond... Things should improve soon, it is September! ;)
It worked for a while, but then dropped off. Jake and I got good rides in, but by the time Jacob went out, both guys ended up downwind.
Yes, Grant park best launch is north with parking in lot. However, if foiling especially with wing, launching/landing on south end south of stream/break is easier, but need to walk equipment ...
@Jacob Odders there's usually room to launch on north side of beach. I'm hoping to get down there later this afternoon if the wind cooperates
I have never been to Grant before. Do you park in the beach parking and just launch right from the swimming beach
