Want to learn how to kiteboard? Get yourself or a friend a trainer kite to help learn the basic concept of flying a kiteboarding kite and understand the wind. Trainer kites come in different sizes and styles. The most basic are 2-line, while others may be three or four line set ups with inflatable leading edges. These more advanced designs allow for more realistic characteristics to be matched when learning the basics of flying. Some of the larger trainer kites can double as a snowkite for use with skis or a snowboard.
