Featuring Vortex three-strut shaping DNA and a highly tuned 16-point bridle system, the Reflex feels instinctively responsive and smooth.

Featuring our durable Teijin Triple Ripstop dacron airframe.

The Reflex offers a little softer and more playful all-terrain riding experience compared to the Vortex. A thicker material than Aluula (used on the Vortex airframe), Dacron is also naturally more resistant to abrasion when scuffed on the beach.

The Reflex is heavily based on the Vortex design with a few key differences:
REFLEX

SHAPE AND MATERIALS

3 strut dacron airframe – more hard wearing and with a less demanding ride feel. Offers more accessibility than the Vortex.

Less aspect ratio offers more low end power. The Reflex is still considered a relatively high-aspect design.
Vortex V2

SHAPE AND MATERIALS

3 strut Aluula airframe – feels stiffer and sharper, with a constantly more switched-on feel.

More aspect ratio for faster forward flight and more top end performance.
REFLEX

ACCESSIBILITY AND HANDLING

Softer dacron airframe also allows for more material twist under load, which means the Reflex turns more tightly through a loop with less power.

ACCESSIBILITY AND HANDLING

Ultra stiff Aluula airframe with a slightly higher-aspect ratio offers extreme stability and consistent handling across the whole wind range. More drive and pull through a slightly wider loop.

The ‘magic’ second lift and superbly reliable catch are more pronounced on the Vortex.

Capable of feeding the addiction of any kitesurfer, however long or limited their experience.

Mixes high performance power and handling with comfort and accessibility. Designed to make big-air twin-tip riding progression feel natural and fun.Although the primary design focus was twin-tip performance, the Reflex’s tighter turns and softer feel also make it an excellent cross-discipline kite for wave and foil sessions.

IDEAL RIDER:

Intermediate to pro level

Full-on performance, new school big air kite for riders that want to feel totally connected to the kite. Imagine riding with stiffer suspension – you get more response, but it demands a more committed, generally faster riding style.

Designed with high-end materials for rock solid stability and reliability in even the most extreme conditions.

Being very light in weight and with super responsive, direct handling, the Vortex is also a fantastic kite for foiling.
